Hurricane Ian Relief

On September 28, 2022 Hurricane Ian made landfall in Southwest Florida as a Category 4 Storm with sustained winds of over 150 mph. Given that in DeSoto County The peace River and Horse Creek were already in flood stage because of a heavy rain season, the devastation to our community has been tremendous.

If you are reading this it is because God has placed a desire in your heart to help our community in this time of need. But you may be wondering, "What can I do?"

There is so much you can do that that I will list some suggestions below:

1.  Pray. God is the true healer and restorer. It is our job to turn to him to provide during this time.

2.  You can donate financially by clicking the give tab on this website. Once you fill out your information please choose to give to the hurricane relief fund. 100% of all money donated will be used to purchase supplies that are needed locally.

3.  You can ship items to our church for distribution. The biggest needs are baby supplies (Diapers, Wipes, formula), Cleaning supplies like wipes, disinfectant sprays. We have plenty of food and water. The Church's Address is 34 El Verano Ave. Arcadia, FL 34266. Please email Pastor Dave (dave@fccarcadia.org) so that we can know to be on the look out for these supplies.

Thank you for your willingness to assist DeSoto County in the fallout of this hurricane. We will rebuild stronger!
